For this assignment we had to make two videos:

  • A Reconstruction of a scene from a film, shot by shot as accurately as possible.
  • A reinterpretation of the scene, changing something small to give the scene a different meaning.

At the morning, the group decide pick the film called "Anchorman" Glass Case Of emotion Scene

We had to fill in the pre-production document from blackboard.
We filled in forms for:

  • Resources needed
  • Health and safety
  • Contingency plan
  • Shot list
  • Script
  • Storyboard
  • Costing
  • Production team contact details

George was typing on the mac about What jobs we will take?
Roles:
  • William - the Editing assistant/Cameraman
  • Ryan - Cameraman /Sound
  • George - Actor (bit part)/Sound editing
  • Regan - Director/Editing
  • Harry - Ron Burgundy role and script/Editing
I let Harry to use my laptop to finish his works without wasting efforts to find other Mac and I gave him some good ideas about the risk list. We went outside to find phone box.
Things that went well:

  • Found good location close by for phone box and hub for office scene
  • Harry and George acted well
  • Footage was good

Things that not went well:

  • Rain
  • Camera len's getting wet (Not all the parts of camera)
  • Jacket's zip in shot (Jacket cover to protect the camera from getting wet)
  • Reflection on glass (It was blocking Harry's face)
  • Sound traffic in background (It caused audience or Editor find it a bit hard to hear Harry's speech)
