Week 1

We had a lecture about advertising techniques, lines, of appeal, structure and power of persuasion.
We researched a range of advert by one company for the same target audience. My  group chose John Lewis. We each analysed one advert. Week 2

We had a lecture about audience research using BARB and ASA and questionnaires to find out about our intended audience.

We had a session of ideas generation. We had to come up with ideas to sell good to unusual target audiences (Like beer to young woman). Here are some of my groups ideas.

Week 3 & 4

We shuffled production groups around because we all chose one idea that we liked. I joined the group which was selling digestive to teenage girls. In my group is Naomi, Anthony and nyall. We are going to use stop-performance. We will  put heads of 1D musicians on to digestive biscuits and use #1D for social media trend.

We did research for our advert. Naomi researched our target. audience of teenage girls. Nyall looked at animation using Cravendale and I looked at other biscuit adverts.

Here is my research:

We also started work on the pitch putting together our research and working out what we would need to make the advert.

Week 5

We completed the pitch and pitched it to Scott. Our feedback said that is was a good strong idea but that I was the only one who had mentioned factors of persuasion and lines of appeal. Also we had forgotten to do our proposal.

Which we should have done first.
